Night at The Disco – CLC Annual Bid & Buy Auction Night, Saturday March 24th, 2012 6:30 – 11:00 PM
The annual “Bid & Buy” auction is an amazing event produced every year by our talented and energetic PTN, The Development Office and the fabulous CLC teachers. Literally hundreds of gifts are donated by local merchants which, along with spectacularly creative products hand made by the exceptional CLC students, are made available to “bid on” and hopefully “buy.” In the past we have auctioned off plane tickets, hotel stays, and dinners for 10 at fabulous DC restaurants. All proceeds go directly to supporting the educational efforts of CLC.
The Auction is truly the most enjoyable way to support CLC and every year Jenny and the Auction team outdo their previous years decorations. So leave the kids at home (the auction is for grown-ups only!) bring your friends or make some new friends. Annual events such as the Auction, are more than just a great way to raise funds, they also help build tradition. In Judaism, tradition and community are fundamental to our culture; at CLC we hope that offering annual events enforces our commitment to tradition and opens the doors to a strong community.
